It is common knowledge that some photographs result better in black and white.  

I am convinced that this is true. 

Some of my favorite shots are in black and white, this is one of them.

 Today is Grandparent's Day in Italy so I thought this picture was just right for the occasion. I snapped it a few days ago during a visit to Dolce Acqua in the Italian Riviera.
